Robert Dalby SPRINGFIELD — Robert Dalby, 21, of 180 Pinewood Drive, Ludlow, was charged Wednesday by Springfield police with destruction of property, trespassing, and driving under the influence of liquor after he allegedly drove a black Volkswagen Jetta through two Smith & Wesson security gates at 2100 Roosevelt Ave.
Police said the driver of the car was extremely drunk and unable to talk or perform a sobriety test.
Dalby was arraigned Wednesday in Springfield District Court and his case was continued until Sept. 20.
