Police arrested the suspect on Saturday afternoon.
John FioriniWEST SPRINGFIELD – Police arrested a 22-year-old Nevada man on the North End Bridge Saturday afternoon for failing to register as a sex offender.
The suspect, John M. Fiorini, who has an address of 565 Kristin Lane, Henderson, Nevada, also had an outstanding fugitive from justice warrant, according to police documents.
Fiorini is a Level 3 offender and has convictions for rape of a child, indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and purchase/possession of child pornography, according to information posted by the Sex Offender Registry Board.
Police arrested Fiorini shortly after 2 p.m. Additional information was not immediately available.
