Evelyn (Beck) FoersterEvelyn Marie (Beck) Foerster, 97, of Longmeadow, passed away on Sunday June 5. She was born on July 7, 1913 in Warehouse Point, Conn., and worked as a telephone operator there during the 1930s and 40s. Known for being an avid Red Sox fan, she was a Sunday School teacher at Trinity Lutheran Church in Springfield. She was also a member at Twin Hills Country Club and Franconia Country Club.
