Cigarettes and chewing tobacco were stolen in the break-in, police said.
PALMER - A thief entered an unlocked restroom at the S&S/Valero has station on North Main Street early Thursday and tore apart the wall to get inside the store and steal 50 to 60 cartons of cigarettes, along with some chewing tobacco.
Lt. John J. Janulewicz said the break-in is under investigation. Janulewicz said police have video of the suspect, and said anyone with information is asked to call the department at (413) 283-8792.
The break-in was reported just before 6 a.m. on Thursday. He said mostly Marlboro cigarettes were stolen. The restroom entrance is on the outside of the building.
