MONSON - Joan M. (Heintz) Bacon, 75, of Bethany Road died June 2. Born February 25, 1936 in Ware, to the late Arthur F. and Josephine M. (DePace) Heintz, she was a graduate of Monson High School and a lifelong resident of Monson. Joan also spent many of her retirement years in Rotonda West, Florida. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She worked for the Monson School Department and retired from Friendly Ice Cream Corp.
