West Springfield police charge 21-year-old Kim Cynthia Moore with break-in, assault, theft of money

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Police said they arrested a 21-year-old city women Sunday morning after she and a 24-year-old male accomplice allegedly broke into a woman's Myron Street apartment and stole money from her.

Detective Matthew J. Mattina said the female suspect accused a friend of stealing money, broke into her home shortly before 9:30 a.m., assaulted her and stole money.

The victim suffered minor injuries. Mattina said police continue to search for 24-year-old Jerry Estrada, of no known address, who is believed to have been an accomplice.

Kim Cynthia Moore, of 57 Morton St., was charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, putting a person in fear, unarmed assault to rob, unarmed robbery and intimidation of a witness.
